Has anyone installed the Navionics app on a tablet yet?

Just curious because I bought my wife a nexus 7 tablet for xmas. I have the navionics on my phone but my eyes aren't what they used to be and have a heck of a time reading depths on it. It would really be cool if I could purchase this app for this tablet and use it in the truck to get me "on the spot"this winter. I was doing some research and read that most apps are done for phone size screens in mind and that these apps aren't really optimal for the larger tablet screens.

I have a iPhone and there is a feature called Easy View, this enlarges the printed word and text. If have an android and it doesn't have that feature it will be coming soon. Easy View is found under settings. Navionics has a HD version for iPads. High quality resolution. As far as the nexus 7 tablet, I am checking on the compatibility.

Yes you would have to repurchase. It is a different operating system.

I have it on my ipad and its amazing. Way better than the pc app. A great tool for planning my outings in my spare time.

I didn't know if support would allow the license to be transferable. Thanks for the info.

I have it on iPhone and my buddy has it on his iPad. It's pretty cool on the iPad. Best ROI of any fishing product I've purchased.

Just got confermation on the nexus 7 is NOT compatible with the Navionics APP. It is top priority but No dates at when it will be compatible.

jnoel- Thanks for the info. I can't wait. When it happens a post on here would be greatly appreciated. Would I have to purchase it for the nexus 7 or will it transfer over? Also I bought the app two or more years ago and was wondering if my phone app is upgradable to a newer version. The app I have is version 5.3.1. My buddy bought the app this fall and his version was different than mine, looked nicer.

Is it possible to print maps off the Navionics for Ipad? If so, how do you do it?
