Ice Castle ?

Got a 2012 8 x 16 and I just noticed on the bunks it says they have a weight limit of 250 pounds is that just to cover there a@@ if one breaks or something like that?

For what it is worth I just bought a used 2007 ice castle. The guy I bought it from made his own bunks out of aluminum because the wooden one it came with broke on one of his buddies. Don't know how big his buddy was but wouldn't think much bigger than 250. We are in process of remodeling ours and may have one of the aluminum bunks for sale if you are in the Grand Rapids area. Have to talk with the father-in-law just to be sure he wants to get ride of it since we will not be using it any longer. PM if interested it is approximatly 72' long as the fish house is 6 ft wide inside.
