HardwaterHero
I am in the market for a new auger but I am torn on what to get. I've always used Strikemaster and know they are a good unit. My brother has a Jiffy pro-4 which is another great unit. They each have there set backs (weight, gas, blades). I'm looking between the Strikemaster Lazer Pro, Strikemaster Honda, and Jiffy Pro-4. I like the Honda engine but i believe it is still too new to say its a lasting model. Any thoughts from owners of these units?

FisH_SLaYer24
I love my Strikemaster Lazer Pro. There is a lot of power in that unit. You can punch a lot of holes in a little bit of time. Always starts on the 1st or 2nd pull and it punches through the ice without bogging down.
CrewJones
my vote is the lazer pro i have one and a Jiffy gas auger. They both are great units the weight and speed the 3hp laser i own are second to none that I have used. my SM doesn't leak any gas and always starts, for now at least.I think I would go for an electric auger in place of that propane one but its not me.
