I need some help with an electrical connection in my basement that I can't seem to figure out. I am having problems wiring a switch that has power coming in with a 3 wire and also going out with a 3 wire to a set of cans. Its a 3 wire going up to the cans because I am carring the power over to another switch for separate lights and also to an outlet. The hot 3 wire coming into the switch box also needs to get power to another switch in the same 2 gang box....that switch has a 2 wire going to a fixture and a 3 wire going to another switch for a 3 way( top and bottom of stairs). Is that confusing enough? Any help appreciated!
