Which wekend to Miss

I have to miss one of the first three weekends of hunting due to the "honey do list" does it matter which weekend I know wheather and alot of different factors come in to play, but I am just trying to find out what other hunters think.

If given the choice between the first 3 weekends, I would skip the last one without a doubt. By this time, most of the local birds have moved out / become very weary, and the northern birds are still up in Canada. Unless we get some really cold weather starting in mid- sept, I'd say missing the 3rd weekend would be the best idea......actually, I'd hunt all 3 weekends come to think of it!!!

Sartell has the right idea ...

The locals will be long gone by the 3rd weekend and unless mother nature puts some nasty weather to us early there wont be much around to shoot at.

Mr. B you should have been buttering her up the last month and getting your Honey Do list done, poor timing, but I would have to go with the last weekend to miss if I had to.

Good news most of my list has been taken care of due to things outside my control! So it looks like I get to hunt any of the weekends. And who said in-laws were bad.
