?? Opener for Geese

I'm still wondering why the opener for early season goose falls on a Sunday? or I'm I missing something.

Nope, you are not missing anything. I have no idea why, but that is what I understand too....

I had heard that Sept 1st is the first day they can legally open the season, that's why it's usually the first weekend of Sept. Not sure if this is true or not, but that's what I heard.

The first is the earlist they can open the season.USFWS set the law!That way you can camp one day with the family & hunt sun. & mon.!

hey ozzy, Let me know how you do on sunday. If the birds are moving down here like they have in the past maybe we could get together and sneak out of the stores and go shoot up a few.
