Anybody catch fish on a MN-legal A-Rig this year??

I threw it a little towards the end of the year. I used a 1-2-3 rig where the swimbait with the hook trailed the other 4 swimbaits by 6 inches or so. It looked awesome in the water but didn't produce. Anybody else try it??

Thought about it all summer, but never did find/make one to throw. Thanks for starting the post though, i'm interested...

We threw one on Rainy lake and had a couple hits and a follow on it, but that was about it...

I threw 3 configurations sporadically over the season. got 2 hits by pike (teeth marks). Didn't land anything.

I had some success on Mississippi River border waters with a Border Legal version

I threw one a lot on Pool 4 and 5. Had good luck with it.

Used a Donkey Rig quite a bit as well, Smallmouth whacked the Donkey Rig when fished along windswept riprap.

Any pattern as to which swimbait they tended to go for?

Bubblegum Zoom SuperFlukes on the Donkey Rig.

Used Money Minnows in a variety of colors on the A-Rig.

read some stuff that basically said to set up the rig with one of the swim baits (the one with the hook) diverging from the other 4 in size and/or color and that the fish will tend to hit the oddball...... did anybody see that type of pattern with the fish that they caught??
