Stealth,

A couple things here. The units power on/off by opening the case and are triggered by a magnet in the lid. If you open and close the lid repeatedly very quickly not allowing the unit to fully shutdown or power on you might experience a blue screen. I've had this happen a few times in the hundreds if not thousands of times I've opened and closed these units at the last two shows as part of my unit demo. Simply closing the lid and waiting around 5 seconds is all you need to do.

Another thing you might be seeing is if the camera is not all the way plugged into the unit, you will see the blue screen. I have unplugged the camera from the unit and was certain I had replugged it in all the way only to see the blue screen. You have to really push it way in (insert middle school jokes here) to properly seat the camera cable. I've opened about 30 of the Micro Plus and Micro Plus DVR boxes and didn't have a blue screen on any of them but wouldn't be shocked if some left the factory with the camera cable not seated all the way in. We'll look into this of course going forward to make sure units are being assembled correctly.

Thanks

Chris

I can't make mine turn to a blue screen it works fine. It's a pretty cool little unit.

I got it at the sports show and have had no problem with it. Works great in the cold weather as well.

Well I sent 1st one back to aquavu. Customer service was very polite and helpfull.. But after getting the camera back it still had the same issue. even slip sighned of by the tech who inspected it. Now tell me why it still does the exact same thing after a tech inspected it. Thats why I thought it was normal..
