bogeyman1
O.k guys here's your chance to make a sale. I have 4 choices for a new portable. I want pros and cons. my choices are Frabill Trekker DLX, Clam fish trap Nanook, Otter wild cabin 2 man thermal top.and I haven't seen any of these yet, but the eskimo flip mo 2. My first choice right now is the Frabill. I like the room and the seats are very comfy and its thermal and weighs only 85lbs. I picked these 4 because of the similarity in weight and price. I don't plan on pulling with a wheeler or snowmobile. 1st and last ice maybe when snow is at a minimal to pull out by hand and mid season will just bring out with the blazer. Thanks for your input. Might_B_A_Pike
Your PM feature is not set up, but I have a Clam Yukon TC that I won at the ice show, still new in the box, retail is $550 on it, I would sell it to you for $500. This would let you get a little more shelter for the money. has a thermal top and padded seats. PM me if interested.
whitebassman
I was in the same boat as you. I ended up with the frabill at the show. Best combo of weight size and plus its full thermal. Would have gone otter but the cottage is 54" and the cabin is 64". With the frabill at 58" that's perfect to fit in my Tacoma 5' bed. Also the frabill is the tallest out of those models if I recall. If your not pulling with atv or sled that would be the only definite reason to go otter for durability. But you also gain weight with the otter. I just assembled my frabill and I'm happy with it. The thermal fabric is just as good as the otter thermal. Good luck with you're decision.
