LX7 to LX9 conversion question

I wasnt able to talk with any reps at the show but did anyone find out if they are going to do the conversions and if so how much?

I was told on the phone from Marcum, yes it will be upgradable and it's going to cost $500.00

But their not sure when it will happen but more then likely no earlier the January because they have to get the lx-9 out first.

I asked them at the Blain expo and Jon Marshall told me they will do it and it will be under $500.00

I was told the upgrade would be $500.00 when I talked to them at the show today. the upgrade service should start in about 2 weeks, along with the software update to go from ver 2.9 to 3.01 for thoses that don't plan to have their LX7's upgraded to LX9's.

Thanks for the info guys i appreciate it! Brad you said there would be a software update for those who dont plan on the conversion.....does that mean if i an to convert at a later date that i shouldnt update the software or that i shouldnt bother cause they will do it in the conversion.
