Ice 55 IR Adjustment Question

I bought a ice-55 the first year out and had zero interference even with my lx-3 in the same hole. I didn't keep the bird that year (brought it back for a lx-5) but just picked a new one the other day and got out today and this time around I get interference on my lx-7 and lx-5 while running the bird (running only two at a time) and the bird will get it too. I can get it cleared up with each flashes IR but after having a clear screen for a while it will just show up, so I have to get up and play with the IR to tune it out. I tried the lx5 and lx7 together to and had a heck of a time getting the interference to go away and last year was able to clear it up with the IR. all flashers worked great alone and I did play with the dual cone angle on each, only thing different is I was fishing shallower then I normally do in 14'. The reason I bought the bird was so I didn't need to mess with the IR at all.

You will get minor interference as I have noticed. I fish my Ice55 around Vexilars, Marcums in close proximity. Swapping to the narrow cone may help as well as playing with the IR settings.

You can try this, turn on each unit one at a time if your fishing with other buddies or other flashers nearby. Tuned each unit to optimal settings, lowest gain set possible. Swap to the narrow cone if needed.
