brittman
Not just any zip tie or cable tie will work.Did some testing myself and found that the 24" HEAVY DUTY Zip ties worked well on the #220 trap. The 24" heavy duty ties had 175 pound tensile strength. They were only available in a 50 count bag at the local MFF for around $10. You might be able to use a little shorted zip tie on a #110, but then not sure how many dogs get caught in the smaller trap. I could close the two springs sitting in the front seat of my car and it worked better standing over them with more working space around you. It still took some effort and strength to get the two springs shut. Brett had obviously practiced a few times before that video.
