Yeah it's a tough call though. The vex is pretty sweet and all but so is that Bird combo. I've never owned a vex but have messed around with a few different ones thru the years. Cool units. Ive owned a few different birds though and liked them well enough. I bought the Lowrance x67 a few years back because I loved the ability to do different things. I could view it in either flasher mode or fish finder type screen. I actually like the graph mode better as it gives a better interpretation of what is going on and it is in real time so it's cool. This winter I am going(hoping?!)to upgrade to a unit with gps capabilities and the 385 is pretty nice. It has what my old lowrance offered plus gps. I only have a droid with the navionics ap and I fish red most of the winter and the navionics sux on upper red as far as detail goes. So the ability to run a pretty slick unit with mapping choices is why I'd go with the little bird. Flasher/graph/gps' Sounds like a deal to me.

I would like a gps enabled graph Thinking maybe ice 385 or maybe a 385/55 combo I currently a FL 18 but was thinking of selling and trying out the Hummingbirds any input.

If your thinking of the Humminbird combo you better do it fast and make up your mind. Reeds got a Cyber Monday Sale going on for the Ice55//385ci combo for $599. That's $400 off the retail price which is normally $999.
