Late Honkers

Hows everybody doing on geese in the late season? I went in St. Boni. Fri night saw nothing. On Sat. morning all we saw were high flyers, and a buncha Pheasants. So we decided to pick up and hunt Pheasants. And of course thats when the Geese came. They landed right where we were sitting and all we could do is look on and kick ourselves. Thats hunting....saw about 35 Pheasant while goose hunting, no geese and saw couple hundred Geese while Pheasant hunting, no Pheasants....****.

Have not seen too many honkers around St Cloud since the strom. I'll keep you posted if things change.

I saw about 2-3 hundred of them land on the West side of Big Kandi. at half time of the "loser's Vike's" game yesterday. They came from the direction of Willmar and landed in the water pretty quickly. Heard them after dark too.
