Agronomist_at_IA
I'm going to take the batteries for everything I use in ice to get checked. Is there a battery on the market that will last longer then lead acid batteries? Like an ion battery or something
aanderud
There's a lithium ion 12 volt in the normal flasher form factor, but it's only rated at like 10 amp hours. So, it won't last any longer, really per charge, than what you're used to. But, it will handle more charge/discharge cycles. Unfortunately they're still well over 100 bucks I think. That and it's hard to say how they'd really handle the cold. Here's a post on these from last summer.http://www.hotspotoutdoors.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/2892050/Maybe_the_last_flasher_battery
