slimngrizzly
I just got a 2007 Sportsman and want to put a "basket rear rack" or whatever on it. I see they have a decent one in cabelas for $120 or so, also one at Northern Tool in the same price range.I think these are a neccessity for 5 gallon pails etc.! Does anyone have one they really like or one they think is "cheap" and I should stay away from? Thanks!
BoxMN
I have a rear drop rack. Love it! I got the one that has the "drop gate" and honestly should not have. I just don't use the tailgate, so it has unnecessary hinges, chains, etc. Maybe someday I will, but doing it again I would not get that. They are pretty heavy, but not rediculously. I got the kind that you CAN remove the "drop". I think i had pic posted here before, will try to find it. So if you go just riding, you can remove most of the weight with four bolts. The only bad part is that when you hook up a trailer/ice shack, you need to really get down there to hook it up. Also, if a trailer has short tongue, might need to watch backing up or turns more. All in all, I LOVE it! I have it on a Foreman, and also have a seat bag right on the front half (i.e. normal rear rack area) so both bag and rear drop, and it is much more awesome than I had thought for ice fishing, better than my sleds unless lots of snow of course. Sorry for long post, I really like mine, hauling wood, ice fishing, coolers etc. edit - no pics, but some more info: http://www.hotspotoutdoors.com/forum/ubb...ack#Post2753498

magnum mike
I have the 3 bucket version from Cabela's on a 300 Honda. I have carried 3 pails full of water in it. They are well made. It's amazing how much stuff you can get into 3 pails. I have 7 gallon pails with spin on lids. Check out Gamma Seal lids too.
