I am looking for some serious help. I have a couple of coworkers who are low income and I would like to give them some food, probably turkeys, for Christmas. I want to brine them up first and I am wondering if I can then freeze them or not. I know I will need fresh turkeys to even consider freezing them. If I shouldn't freeze them how long can I keep them on ice after I brine them and still have them safe? Any other thoughts?
