stoneeyes317
I am looking for some serious help. I have a couple of coworkers who are low income and I would like to give them some food, probably turkeys, for Christmas. I want to brine them up first and I am wondering if I can then freeze them or not. I know I will need fresh turkeys to even consider freezing them. If I shouldn't freeze them how long can I keep them on ice after I brine them and still have them safe? Any other thoughts?
Juneau4
Just freeze the turkeys and give them to them. Anyway they receive them they will enjoy.
stoneeyes317
Yeah, that's the easy thing to do, but I know at least one of them is somewhat "challenged" in the kitchen...
Juneau4
If they can use an oven===give them the oven recipe. You the giver can only do so much. Thankyou from them in case they forget.
