Any ideas to increase gas mileage on a 99 XLT special? Currently getting a whopping 4 to 5 miles to the gallon.

Sounds like you need to get the carbs cleaned, tuned and synchronized.

I had a 93 XLT that would get 11 to 14 MPG, depending on my right thumb.
