Moose-Hunter Posted October 29, 2012 Share Posted October 29, 2012 I roll my own in two calibers. .44 Mag and .357 Mag. For the .44, I use a Speer gold Dot 240 grain, DCHP. And for the .357, a 170 grain DCHP. Both are specialized hunting bullets that will expel most if not all it's energy into the target. Limit my shots to about 75 yards (perfect for my area) and I'm good to go! I've intentionally left out my load data as both are loaded "a bit" hot.
