My wife and I strictley muzzleload and we live and hunt in a lottery area. We both applied for a doe tag but neither one of us was drawn. Can we go to a hunters choice area and shoot a doe? We live within 30 minutes of a hc area and with not a lot of land to hunt for bucks only down here we were thinking of doing that. We LOVE that venison!! If we do that and do take a doe does it need to be registered in that area as well?! Just tryin to stay lawful! Thanks!

Yes you can take a doe in HC but then that tag is done. You cannot take a buck with it in lottery as only 1 deer in either HC or lottery. You can register anywhere as long as not CW zone just so you know the area number the deer was taken in.
