I use a small folding camp chair with a carry strap, but im prety much good with anything that keeps my posterior dry and/or off any ice or snow.

I use Hunt Comfort Climb-On pad wherever I go (deer and turkey hunting clipped to my backpack. THis is the smaller cushion that fits perfectly on a tree stand seat. It's a little spendy but well woreth the money. I got sick of the cheaper cushions that weren't comfortable and decided to splurge on myself.
