I am looking at purchasing a used Polaris Sportsman 800 EFI 4X4. It has 2500 miles on it and looks in good shape. Should I be concerned with the miles, and is there any known issues with this model that I need to consider?

They are known for overheating, (I've worked on them for that)and I've heard of fuel and water pump issues. Ask the seller if he has had issues with any of those.

Other than that, do a quick web search for 2005 Sportsman 800 problems and see what you find.
