Necklace Advice

Bought one of the most important women in my life a necklace but the chain turns her neck green. She is the bartender in the tavern I frequent so need to keep her happy. The pendant (bear paw imprint) hanging from chain is a silverish color. I mention that because of the outdoor theme she could use a leather string. Spent 20 on the necklace so don't want to go overboard.

Replace the chain with a black velvet cord, you can buy it at any fabric shop. It will actually look very sharp with the silver.
