Guest
The studs on my sled are wore out and useless. I could care less about trail riding, bought it just to pull my fishing stuff around and to get to those "secret" honey holes back in the woods. Do I have to go buy some special studs or can I just pick up some hardened bolts and nuts. If the later is the answer could you tell me what size and type would work the best? Thanks a bunch! Gissert
Chiro -I would not suggest going the hardened bolt route. The studs need good support around the head to prevent pulling thru the track. That is a lot of force to resist.I'd replace the studs with some carbide tipped units. They will last a long time, and should meet your needs.

Gissert
You can get them online at websites like Dennis Kirk or Hi Perfomance Engineering in Thief River. Theses websites usually have a good informational section on how to choose studs for your application. Are your studs the one piece design, or are they installed into a T-Nut?Shop around, and look for your best price.
