Raven
Does anyone know where you can obtain original seat covers for old machines? I have this 73 Panther that is in top shape and runs good, except the seat cover has cracked and I am afraid the seat itself will be damaged if it isn't replaced soon. Any help would be appreciated
Paul Rohweller
Raven,Your question is a big request. Unless you luck into one at a swap meet or rummage sale the old leopard material is no longer made. A good original seat cover will run into the hundreds if its in tip top shape. The collectors of vintage sleds snap these up as soon as they are located. If its just a beater sled that gets used you can make a new cover out of the black cold weather vinyl , most upholsry shops should be able to handle the job. If you come across a nice seat cover for a 69 panther let me know!
