New Window for Ice Castle

I have a 2008 Ice Castle w/ 27H x 14W windows. I want to put in wider windows. I got the 30W x 27H thermopane from an ice csatle dealer. I havent taken anything apart yet, but the current windows have screws and the flared panel on the outside. The new window is built so the flared edge is underneath the siding, which of course is best if new construction. Am I going to be able to lift off the siding to get the new window in? Or is there another window product I should be using, the 27 in tall is hard to find. Thanks.

Do you have the flat aluminum, or is it RV style siding?

It's ribbed vertical.

That'll be quite the project.

I'd start by taking out the interior paneling so you can see what you'll need to do for framing.

The vertical ribbed siding probably isn't glued on, which should make things easier. You'll have to remove a piece or two, cut the opening bigger, and then figure out how to flash/trim around the window.

I bought it used, its tongue/groove birch siding inside. I am re-evaluating if I want to lose the custom integrity of the exterior vs bigger windows.
