I like the foil-packed hobo dinner. I usually go with potatoes, ham, bacon, onions, garlic, and butter as a base. Sometimes I get creative with more stuff and usually season it with Lowry's or something else. I like quick and easy in the woods so that I can concentrate on why I'm up there.

For breakfast I like the eggs in a bag trick. I always make sure to use a freezer bag because it can handle the hot water better than regular ziplocks.

As you can see, I'm a big fan of making meals ahead of the trip so that it's less work and less mess while I'm in the woods. Who wants to scrub pans when there is fishing to be done or stars to gaze at?
