I made one once out of PVC, hinged top and all. sewn fabric over it all. Bathtub type floor to stay dry.

By the time all was said and done, it wasn't worth it at all. It was heavy, bulky, and wasn't all the much cheaper after buying 10,000 pvc fittings & fabric.

It worked well and was comfortable, but now it just sits in the rafters of the garage. I'd maybe break it out if I could drive right up to where I was going to hunt, but there is no way I'm carrying that thing for more than about 40 ft.
