Finally... Limited Unit 10 Doe Tags!!!

I saw that this year only around 1300 antlerless tags are available for unit 10 no more unlimited $2 tags... Its been truly sad to see how much the deer herd has been decimated the last 5 years wish those years could have been skipped... And hopefully the wolf hunters can take out some of those pesky things around Gburg so we can go back to having a healthy deer herd for the future generations

Im in 16 right below you but I hope I can still get a few tags for my bow I haven't even bought my license

I have seen them decline in the pass few years and I'm glad to see it will increase again

2 years ago I saw 14 deer on opener

This past season I think I saw 7 on Saturday

But with the winter we had this year I'm guessing we had almost a record of fawns survive so in 2 years well have plenty of does and in 4 years well have giants again although I had one dandy and 2 other shooters still on the better of our 2 areas

We own a 30 and that has really declined right off hwy 8 only 15 20 min in from the border and we have a 50 a few miles in from 8 and E that has dropped but still has a good herd

We still got a lot in my unit I didant know they just went on sale on the 18th

The unit 16 herd is still strong we hunt there once in a great while... There are 7000 tags available in that unit... Our land is north of 70 above the river bottoms but wolves and irresponsible hunters have destroyed the population

Agree that the deer pop is down. I have hunted the burg my whole life and have witnesse the decline... Lots of meat locker hunters trying to shoot everything thy see. Ticks me off p hear of a group last year that bagged 17 deer. Crazy.... Hope it gets back to what it was soon!
