Custom Ice Rod Builder Build Off Challenge

Dear Custom Rod Builders,

North East Ice Fishing is our first custom ice rod builders build off. In this challenge we pose to you, to build your interpretation of the ultimate crappie/ bluegill Ice fishing Rod. Do note the mission of this challenge is to bring awareness for custom rod building, challenge you to develop something new or build upon from something you have existing, educate the public about what custom rod building is, and raise funds for a charitable cause. All submitted rods will be used for an auction to benefit Recycled Fish with two rods being used for promotional give aways One to a random submitter from the online Americas choice and the second for a random draw of submitted entries.. There are no losers chosen in this challenge, all builder will be winners from the added exposure and hopeful future growth.

What the challenge consists of, is we will be judging rods on the following categories: Tip sensitivity/bite Indication, Paint Quality, Guide wrapping, Balance, and over all design /creativity. Each of these categories will be judged on a scale of 1 to 10.  These Rods will be judged by a panel of judges in the ice industry. With also a survey sent out to the general public, through a survey HSOforum to be solicited across multiple social media pages and forms. In the event of a tie, the breaking vote will be up to America. The winner will be America's Vote.  The benefit to you is the exposure from individual interviews on the North East Ice Fishing Podcast. Followed by a soul winners interview. The chosen winner will be featured on the North East Ice Fishing Show. With success we intend on carrying this contest on for future years.
