If you lose 50 yards of line in the lake...please do your best to recover it!

It's almost daily i'm pulling a large wad of line off the driveshaft of my trolling motor. This year has been the worst I can remember. And I rarely fish shallow water.

The most recent...a DT16 with 30 yards or so of what seemed like 8lb Power Pro. At least I knew right away, as the lure spun around with the prop. I'm sure this line snapped on the cast, and the user must have thought the lure would sink.

Likely, tomorrow, i'll find something new...maybe get a good lure out of it this time.
