Replacing ski wear rods

Have a rookie question, I bought a couple of used ski doo's. I would like to check and maybe replace the ski wear rods. Can one tip the machine on it's side to do so? (worried about fluids getting in wrong area)_

No problem I do it all the time, you might get a little gas running out of the vent lines but other than that it's no big deal.

I have tipped mine up several times to do different things and never had a problem. I usually tip it up to about a 75 degree angle. Never needed to go any further.
