i'm going to use the foil faced poly styrene type 4*8 sheets for my vapor barrier does this work well ?? also what thickenss do you use thanks

not sure how well anything works comparatively speaking but would assume u always want the thickest insulation you can fit into your space

an r-10 insulation is fine...is 2 inches thick if using pink or blue closed foam...1-1/2 inches if using a foiled face such as thermax glue on block wall with PL 300 frame 2x4 wall in front of that....no vapor barrier required
