HI guys im thinking of redoing my house. was going to put a 24x36 hole cross ways in the middle with 6in on outside walls to step on to chisel hole. Is it best to move the door to one side near the end wall and what would be the best heater option with 2 people in house across from each other. thanks FISHSU

F4U depends on how well you insulate it will determine what heater would work best IMO and these are my favorites are the old milk house style heaters but a little buddy heater would work good if its insulated properly. there are others on the market that will do the job also. but for the life of me can't think of any names right now.

I heat my insulated 6x8 house with a little buddy heater. It works great. It's one of the few heaters I've been around that doesn't make my eyes feel like they're burning.

If you plan on having more than one person sitting in the house at a time I would put a door on each end.
