Where to start

I plan on hitting the water this weekend for some musky... Does anyone have any suggestions on where to start.... Have the fish moved shallow? Would topwaters or Bucktails be a good lures?
N/S what to think, any advice would be appreciated......

I think I would definelty start looking for the usual suspects in the usual spots. Start throwing the weedegdes and up in to the shallows, topwater wouldn't be a bad idea, but I would throw walk the dog baits (jackpots and vipers) instead of prop baits (top raiders). I also wouldn't hesitate to throw on some big gliders (walbulls and phantoms). Then again those are my 2 favorites types of bait anytime of year. Maybe look for some rocks too, ya never know. I also wouldn't rule out some open water casting or trolling...
