half2fish
The taxidermist that i am taking my pike to just started to do replicas. He can get you a muskie replica for 100 if it is 45" or bigger. only prob is that he needs the fish for a mold. so if you are ever out fishing and ACCEDENTLY kiss a ski (god forbid) than let me know and i will give you his phone #. just thought that i would pass this info on to all of you incase u do happen to kill one and dont know what to do. good luck on the water. half2fish
The fish isnt for him. it is for the company that he does it with. The only thing with replicas I think is that they dont look as good. just my opinion.
LEECH21
I believe that replicas look as good, if not better than the real thing. Sure there are some companies out there that make crappy looking ones, but I found that if you look around there are very good companies out there. Plus replicas last forever and most are warranteed for life! I have no questions about letting a trophy go. Just my two cents.------------------<*)))))))><{
outdoor ran
Problem is most skin mounts are damaged during the molding process. I would get the skin mount back if its fixed and ask for the first run off the repo mold for free. After all hes going to make alot of money off that mold. Fish-n-Freak
I think this guy should go out and buy the molds, so he can do a replica of a fish that still swimming. Why kill a fish to make a mold? There are taxidermy supply shops that have a bunch of different sized molds.Just an idea.Steve

LEECH21
outdoor ran, you probably disagree with that statment, huh?You should really suggest to the Duluth crew there at Artistic Anglers to set up a web page. It seems like the only time I can see their work is if I make it to the sportsman's show in the spring. I have a 22" LM bass now that I might want to get a repo of.------------------<*)))))))><{
