Lake Vermillion Vandals

Wanted to let everyone know about the vandals that are breaking into cabins on Lake Vermillion for the last few weeks. I talked to the Breitung police and we are not the first ones to report a break in, I guess they are breaking in to destroy other peoples property including breaking windows and trashing cabins. The vandals stole a couple vintage Hamms beer cooler/chair and some small hand tools from us after breaking a window to get in and kicking the chimney off our wood burning stove. If anyone has any information please call the Breitung police department.

Angler, Sorry to hear about your damage. It sounds like kids more interested in doing damage than stealing. I have a cabin on Vermilion myself. What area of Vermilion has this been happening and how wide spread?

We are on the east side according to the police it has all been around Tower/Soudan. I was told there are at least 6 reports right now and that we were lucky the other cabins had a lot more damage including golf carts pushed into the lake, multiple broken windows,sh1tting and [PoorWordUsage] in the cabin. I asked what we could do to prevent it from happening again and was told to buy trail cameras.. Pretty disapointing that there are people like this we have owned the place for 3 months.
