If I was bank fishing, I would do some research on the Minnesota and Mississippi Rivers...lots of bank access and lots of fish in places. Get some DNR maps to locate access and check spots out to see how fishy they are.

Bank fishing for eyes is a tough proposition but Phalen and Vadnais come to mind for a bit of fishing after dark. Bobber and a leech, or shiner if you can keep them alive. Chisago channel can be good after dark as well with fatheads if your wiling to travel a bit. The rivers are always a good bet but with the recent high water and flooding you may run into some problems finding a spot to setup.
