going4it
My 2004 yamaha 4 stroke seems to be running high rpms. Everything else is fine just seems to be way louder then it has ran in the past. Any ideas or suggestions?
h8go4s
Hook up a tach to it so you KNOW what's going on. If that's out of your area of expertise, find someone who can help you. Your prop hub may be slipping, or you may just be imagining a problem. Until you get it figured out, back off on the throttle so you don't damage your motor. Northlander
Make sure your oil level is good.
Valv
With a 150hp I am pretty sure you have a tachometer already installed. What does it ready at WOT ?If the motor increased rpms for sure, it can only be prop related. Whether is spun, bent or just worn out
