fishbreath
What is the difference between a Garcia 6500C3 and a 6600SSC3? Although I'm looking at the 6500C4.
Brian Jones
Save yourself from problems down the road and get a Shimano. I have fried more Abu's than I know what to do with and just last week had the base break off on one when I set the hook on a small pike. A Shimano has a one piece solid base that this can't happen on. What if it had been a 57 inch ski??!!------------------First Choice Guide ServiceThe Cass Lake Chainno_spam.comPhone: (612)730-no_spam
Esoxmn
The only difference is the 6600ssc3 has a thumb bar. The c4 has a high gear ratio, and can be tireing on your hand and arm.
RK
Hiya,I gotta disagree with Brian. I have some Abus that are still going strong after 18 years. I do have to say though I use mostly the 7000s. The 7000s are pretty heavy duty. They seem to last forever near as I can tell. Have to replace a pawl and worm gear on them once in a while, but that's about it. 6500 Big Games are great too if you can find them - they quit making them, much to my dismay.Shimanos are great too, but the Abus Ive used take a pretty good beating and keep working.Cheers,RK
