How long of a cable?

Was reading on the forums where someone sugested carrying extra cable and clamps in case the cable breaks on the wheel house.

Would 10 feet be good length to carry? or is there a better length to go with?

You want a couple of wraps around your drum when the house is down. If 10' will do that for your set up, then it'll work. Be sure to prepare your spare cable with an end that'll work, or bring cable clamps to make it for front or rear. However, the good thing about the tongue cable breaking is that you can usually use a jack to lift it.

10 feet will be fine . dont forget a way to clamp cable and a floor - jack .
