Went to my sister inlaws for the weekend in beltrami county an her husbands father owns 420 acres thats prime bear country. he took me around an shoed me some areas that made me cry....so to speakhi ground ridgelines with beaver swamps on bothsides, a classic travel route with raspberrers on the slopes., I have seen the motherland. private land an hour away. not this year but next, if his father allows mw, which shouldnt be a issue. But i was wondering if there is a HSOforum for plat books for minnesota counties? thanks boar

Here is the GIS system which should give you the info that you need. Plat books are kept at the country recorder. Some counties will have "Landshark" or "Laredo" which they'll put plat images on, but it's expensive to use. If you're close to the county, just go in there. Sometimes a nicely worded phone call asking them to send a plat map will work as well if you're too far away.

thanks ted, I usually get my outdated plates from plumbers that get new ones every year, but the one i need is outa of their area of usage. Thanks for the info.
