Has any one has any problems with there custom boat cover from Canvas Craft. Like how long does it last being stored outside all year?, and uncovered in the winter?

Or is there a better place to get a cover maid at?

The last cover on my last boat that was made by them was about 8-9 years old and spent about 2/3s of it's time outside. And when I sold the boat and it was worn but still in ok shape. Any cover that is exposed to the elements year round will have a shortend life.

You won't find a better cover than canvas craft. Mother nature is tough on everything. My cover was made in 1997 and was inside until 2007. It is just the plain canvas not the vinyl coated and is starting look tough now. Cleaned it once and reconditioned. Time to do it again. The mildew is the toughest on them.

our cover is not from canvas craft but it does have the pole vents. I believe they work very well. I've never gotten that damp musty smell when i uncover the boat, seems to exchange air very well and don't leak either.

Check out TOPGUNBOATCOVERS in Shakopee.

I don't think there is a difference in craftsmanship just material.

Canvascraft uses AQUALON and top gun uses TOP GUN. Google them to see the difference. Just got one and it was $300 less and it is awesome.
