any body using the quadra beam transducer on the Humminbird unit?? How's it working out for you??

I work with a guy who swears by it, mostly what is on his screen i guess.

Quadra beam is something i'd like to add to my aresonal.

It's basically just typical sonar readouts, but it shows which side of the boat sonar is reading. I believe it uses the 83,200, and 455 frequency. The addition of the 455 will show sonar way out to the side of the boat. Not necessary, but will give sonar display of what you see in SI i'm guessing.

Whats the transducer running for anyway? Last time i checked i thought it was under $100.
