Lot of people fishing the river yet, I would assume.

A buddy fished the lake on Sunday and did pretty good but it was on the east end. Haven't heard anything where you're heading, but it's the right time of year for the big lake. Right around the end of May the action usually starts to pick up.

My experience with North Dakota fishing reports is no news is good news...you only hear about it when the fish aren't biting. If alls quiet, you're good to go.
