I have a cable drive steering trolling motor, and my question is, does anybody know of a way to adjust the tension on the turning. See when I have it on continious operation and take my foot off the pedal the motor will not hold the direction, is there a way to fix this?

Should be a screw on the bottom of foot pedal to tighten the tension. It's a Phillips screw head.

Yep he's right but you can't tighten it enough to still be able to use it and have it hold course without your foot on it.....
