Salmo Pike lure

Thorne Bros. big sale is this weekend and I was thinking of picking a Salmo Pike minnow up. Have any of you guys had any luck on this lure?

I have two of the lures and I like them a lot. My dad tried one up in canada and first cast he landed a 40 inch pike and later lost one at the side of the boat about 42 or so. They seemed to work well up there. -Ding

Thanks for the input. I read that pike and musky tend to be cannibalistic. That lure looks just like a cigar-sized pike. I'm sold.

I think that lure is worthless. I caught a few eelpout up in Canada with it but no Northern or Lunge. I heard your brother is one heck of a fisherman! Maybe you should just borrow some of his tackle and watch & learn!
