just got a used lowrance lcx 15 for my boat and the got everything hooked up and it says gps module not responding..i want to make sure i've got everything hooked up right. the wires that say nmea 2000/gps power there is a red black and a bare wire. i've got red to positive and the black and bare to negative..note: from reading doesn't the lcx 15 use nmea 0183? ive got a lgc-12w gps module it came with. ok...the other set of wires is a red black and white..i've got red to positive black to negative and the white not being used because my lowrance 480 is that way..and last an orange blue yellow and bare wire i don't have hooked up. do they need to? any help would be great maybe my gps puck is just shot.

We're usually fully stocked but you caught me on a bad night!
Tuesday night is usually "board meeting" night if you know what I mean. Stop in and have a tasty beverage some Tuesday night after these holidays are over and things get back to normal.
Im sure I will be back soon my kids go through the pork burgers pretty quick. Suzy knows who I am she can help ya. Cant ever turn down a nice cold Busch Light.
