Bowfin
Some muzzleloaders have longer 28 inch barrels. I've heard the longer barrel can be more accurate and have more efficient powder burn especially when shooting 150 grains. Any thoughts if 28 inch barrels are that much better than 26 inch barrels? fishattacker
You will probably get a little more velocity out of a 28 inch barrel and that is about it. Both lengths will proably shoot the same if you find the load the gun shoots best.
