looking to buy a boat 1760 tuffy

Can anybody tell me if this is a good boat or not. 1760 tiller with a 75 motor on it . is it a good boat for all species or not. I fish walleyes and muskies and panfish the most. and can you get up and go with the family of 4 in it or is it to small for that

Have not been in the 1760T but the 1760's I have been in are great boats, Tuffy is a great company and makes a great boat...

Very nice boat. For walleyes it can not be beat. Tuffy, Yar craft, and Ranger are my 3 favorite walleye boats period! I have a lund which is set up nice. But the ride of those 3 are far superior to any tin boat. Now as far as getting up and go? What do you mean buy that. With a 75 the boat with a couple people will most likely will be in mid 30's. With a family I would think around 32 or 33. It comes down to do you want a fishing boat or family boat? Youcan not beat a tiller for boat control! IMHO

thing on it dont know the right terminology thanks I see there is a new ranger 2013 tiller 75 hp coming out also hmmm should I wait or is there no difference thanks

I have a 60hp on a 18 foot Tuffy. Trolls down just fine. You can always back troll if you want to go slower. I have owned a Ranger, Spectrum, Nitro and this Tuffy. The Tuffy is by far the driest and best riding of the bunch. Although each brand will have it's own strengths and weaknesses.

You can wait for the Ranger if you like, but you better be saving more money. You will NEVER buy a Ranger for what you can get a Tuffy for.
